Hey guys,
In this post I want to share my 3 favorite resources on strength training that you can find for free on the web.
None of these are affiliate links – just my personal picks for what I consider to be the most educational free content on the topic. Enjoy…
1) RippedBody.com
I found Andy’s blog a few years ago and keep coming back to it. It is the most complete diet and strength-training guide on the web that I personally have come across. Reading through the blog feels like reading a book (it is that well organized) and Andy’s writing style is clear and to the point. If you want to learn 90% of all you’ll ever need to know about training, grab a coffee and read through this blog.
2) StrongerbyScience.com
If you want to nerd out on weight lifting this website will keep you busy for months. The owner, Greg, broke several powerlifting world records and knows his stuff. His guides on how to squat, deadlift and bench press are golden. My personal favourite is his article on work capacity.
3) Team3DMJ YouTube channel
A great YouTube channel on natural bodybuilding, run by competing pro bodybuilders. One of their Coaches, Eric Helms, created a 6-part YouTube playlist called the Muscle and Strength Training Pyramid. In it he gives you a detailed overview of strength training principles and ranks them by their order of importance. It’s a great video series to check out and he did a similar one on nutrition, if you are interested.
…Done!
I hope these help you out. Obviously there are a lot more great resources on strength training out there, so if you have any additions let me know in the comment section!
Until next time,
Felix
